"The Palace of Fine Arts is a monumental structure located in the Marina District of San Francisco, California, originally constructed for the 1915 Panama–Pacific International Exposition to exhibit works of art. Completely rebuilt from 1964 to 1974, it is the only structure from the exposition that survives on site."

"Parc pour faire pique-nique "
@veronique.g
"Reminiscent of Roman ruins, the grand Palace of Fine Arts was designed by Bernard Maybeck for the purpose of displaying artworks during the Panama-Pacific International Exposition. Though most PPIE structures were torn down after the fair, the public deemed the palace, with its soaring colonnade and august rotunda, too beautiful to destroy. It now operates as a theater."
@nchavotier
"Its a really beautiful building that looks like a Greek Pantheon. Fun to walk around it, see the architecture, and the ponds and animals in the pond."
