"Such good grub and on the end of Kings Road. Crispy aubergine and corn ribs slap. Peruvian food. "

"Nestled away on the outskirts of Chelsea, Chicama’s food concept is all about exploring the coastal cooking offerings of Peru. Here, you can enjoy delicious dishes that are enhanced through contemporary techniques and flavours. The restaurant works directly with a small community of Cornish fishermen who have families that have been working along the coastlines for many generations. "

"Posto molto carino, consiglio mangiare fuori.

"Terrific Peruvian restaurant serving small sharing plates, primarily traditional seafood, such as ceviche and baked fish on the bone! A particular highlight were the Pisco Sours at the bar before we sat for dinner so would recommend heading there for a drink before!"

"On the right sunny day and with what we’re lovingly going to call a keen imagination, the terrace of this Chelsea restaurant feels like it could actually be on a beachside in Santa Cruz. Is that the 65 to Kingston? No. It’s a big, red fairground ride with added honk-factor. Just pretend, okay? There’s something about their cute, foliage-packed terrace that makes us feel like we’re on holiday and seeing as a family vacay is probably not on the cards right now, it’s a lovely substitute. The menu is full of Peruvian-inspired dishes like trout cooked in banana leaf, aji panca squid, and sea bass ceviche, but we’ve got a real soft spot for their daytime vegetable brunch offerings."

" Sister restaurant of the acclaimed Pachamama in Marylebone, Chicama has the same ethos: tapas, Peruvian and excellence. The place itself is very nicely furnished, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the minute we stepped inside. Perfect for the spring/summer season, there is an outside seating area even though we enjoyed our lunch meal inside. Chicama has a long counter with the cocktail bar with chefs preparing the dishes behind it, dark pink velvet seats and a unique blending and combinations of flavours that left us absolutely amazed. Lastly, it has to be noted how well trained and knowledgable the staff was, as they gave us advice and detailed explanations of each dish. "
