3/5: tasting menu. Cute decor, seafood focused restaurant. Food was fresh but just okay, I didn’t think they really did anything particularly creative or innovative with it.

@aliceye

specialised in see food covered outdoor space

£££ - Peruvian seafood place. Lots of small dishes thate are quite expensive, cocktails not great, recommend the aubergine/ tapioca/ miso seabass

@verityyes

I highly recommend this place. Everything is carefully thought and the flavours will amaze you. Splurge on the vegetables and the ceviche, they are an explosion of flavours. Definitely an especial place to go.

Sister restaurant of the acclaimed Pachamama in Marylebone, Chicama has the same ethos: tapas, Peruvian and excellence. The place itself is very nicely furnished, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the minute we stepped inside. Perfect for the spring/summer season, there is an outside seating area even though we enjoyed our lunch meal inside. Chicama has a long counter with the cocktail bar with chefs preparing the dishes behind it, dark pink velvet seats and a unique blending and combinations of flavours that left us absolutely amazed. Lastly, it has to be noted how well trained and knowledgable the staff was, as they gave us advice and detailed explanations of each dish.

7/10 - easy and not too expensive, good fish and good starters

What to have: The snacky starters are one of the highlights here – don’t miss the savoury tapioca ‘marshmallow’. Desserts, conversely, aren’t worth much attention

A delightful Peruvian restaurant in Chelsea, one of our favorites!

@taraanbudaiyan

Même chaîne de restaurants que le Pachamama ; bon mais cher et petite quantité.
