"I got here right after they opened up which helped beat the crowds. The walk was smooth, a cool see it once and never again your place. I wondered about how they get fresh air in the caves and apparently the rocks give off air & there’s no bacteria which makes it “top notch air” according to one of the employees. I’m headed back to the mountains now "

"Luray Caverns are the largest caverns in the Eastern United States and a U.S. Natural Landmark. A visit to the caverns takes you through seemingly endless chambers of dramatic stone columns and crystal-clear pools. Entry into the caverns is available with your party for a self-guided tour, and admission also includes the Car & Carriage Caravan Museum, the Shenandoah Heritage Village, and Toy Town Junction, making it a great destination for families."

"The Great Stalacpipe Organ is located inside the Luray Caverns near Shenandoah National Park. Instead of using pipes, the organ is wired to soft rubber mallets poised to gently strike stalactites of varying lengths and thicknesses. Leland W. Sprinkle created the organ by finding and shaving appropriate stalactites to produce specific notes; it can be heard anywhere within the cavern. 1hr tour organ museum "
