It is a much more upscale, full-resort experience than Forest Suites. It has the big things you’d want for a polished Tahoe getaway: lakefront setting, private beach, golf course, full-service spa, heated outdoor pool/hot tub, fine dining, and mountain/lake views. The official site positions it around luxury lakeside lodging, championship golf, fine dining, spa, skiing, and year-round recreation. Resort feel This is not a budget basecamp. It is a luxury lakefront lodge with a mountain-modern feel. Forbes Travel Guide lists Edgewood Tahoe, and the resort says both its Lodge and Spa have received Forbes 4-star ratings. Rooms are typically described as high-end and scenic, with many lake or golf-course views. A Vogue Tahoe guide noted the Lodge has 154 rooms, many with fireplaces, soaking tubs, and strong lake views. Spa / wellness Edgewood has a real full-service spa, not just a massage room. My take For you, Edgewood Tahoe is the better fit over Forest Suites if you want a true upscale reset: lake views, spa, pool, nice dinners, and a refined resort atmosphere. I’d choose Forest Suites for value, space, and walkability to Heavenly Village. I’d choose Edgewood for a special occasion, wellness/luxury weekend, or a “treat myself” Tahoe stay. My caution: verify the construction impact, final nightly total, and whether you want to be on the busier South Lake/Stateline side versus a quieter North Lake Tahoe retreat like Hyatt Regency Incline Village or Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe."

"Beautiful property and would love to play the golf course. Room was just ok for as expensive as it was. No mini bar or snacks in the room. Had streaming. Has slippers and robes. Bathroom amenities were just ok. No tea in the room. Had a balcony but it was small and not private from the room next to you. Staff was ok but not very helpful. Food was ok"
