"• Drinks: Classic pub selection with ales, lagers, ciders, wines, spirits and seasonal guest beers • Food: Traditional British pub food such as fish & chips, pies, Sunday roasts, plus smaller snacks and bar bites • Location: Riverside in Rotherhithe, directly on the Thames with views over the water • Budget: Moderate London pub prices, pints around £6–£7, mains £15–£20 • Atmosphere: Historic 16th/17th-century style, wood beams and maritime decor, cozy and traditional; mix of locals, tourists, and history lovers; relaxed rather than party-heavy • Seating: Indoor wooden tables and bar seating, outdoor riverside terrace with several tables overlooking the Thames • Specials: Scenic Thames views from the terrace, strong historic connection to the Mayflower ship, good spot for sunset drinks"

"Dates from 1550 Unsurprisingly, this pub gets its name from the famous ship, which moored next door before sailing to the New World. If you can prove a family link to one of the voyageurs, why not sign their book of Mayflower Descendants? They also claim to serve the best fish and chips in London, but that’s definitely an argument for another time."

"A traditional English pub surrounded by cobbled streets, the outside decked jetty and cosy candlelit restaurant have stunning river views. You can spot the original 1620 mooring point of the Pilgrim Father’s Mayflower ship, warm yourself by the open fire and imagine who may have been sitting in your seat 400 years ago! Offering delicious, classic British dishes using local and fresh ingredients, complemented by a great range of well-kept traditional ales, craft beers, local gins and fine wines. Be sure to catch the sunset and try the best fish and chips in London!"

"Heaven propped up by Tudor beams. Named for the famed ship that set sail from moorings at the same site, The Mayflower is a den of dark wood and stained glass, candles and a coal fire. Glasses hang from the top of the bar. It is convivial; it is not somewhere people mind packing into, and out the back is a riverside deck. If you’re popping here, go to the Angel"
