"If you have time, pop by Borocay which is a backpackers’ haven (see the best of Borocay Part 1 and Part 2 for an in-depth guide), and when you’ve exhausted your intake of island life (is that possible?) jet back to Manila for a night of fine-dining or affordable food court munching."

"Boracay is a small island of the Philippines located south of Manila. How small is Boracay? well it is tiny: no more than 7 kilometers long (north to south) and 1 kilometer wide for most of the island . Boracay is very famous for it’s white sand beautiful beaches, as a whole the beaches of the Philippines have built themselves quite a reputation as being some of the most amazing beaches in the world. In 2012, Boracay was dubbed as “the best island in the world” by the travel magazine Travel + Leisure {a famous international travel magazine based in NYC}. One of Boracay’s most photogenic resorts is a gorgeous and romantic resort named the “Nami Resort” it is located within a short walking distance of White Beach. “White Beach” is the main beach and a bit crowded and noisy (but fun!) so it is better to stay in a Resort like “Nami Resort” which is a just a bit farther away – if you want to be close to white beach and still have a quiet holiday. Boracay’s Most Recognizable Landmark is a tidal island named Willy’s Rock located right next to White Beach. More photos of Nami Resort / Check Rates & Availability at Nami Resort >>"

"Boracay may be a small island, but it packs great features such as award-winning beaches, beautiful resorts and great adventures like cliff diving, parasailing, motorbiking, horse riding, snorkeling, kite surfing and scuba diving. If that is not enough, boat tours allow visitors to watch stunning sunsets, explore volcanic caves and remote coves of turquoise lagoons. When the sun sets, Boracay night-life pulsates with many bars and restaurants serving food, drinks and fun until dawn."

"Sounds incredible. Boracay, the pearl of the archipelago With its white sandy beaches, turquoise waters and breathtaking landscapes, the Philippines archipelago never ceases to impress its travellers. Among its more than 7,000 islands, one in particular stands out. Located in the very south of the country, more than 300 kilometres from Manila, Boracay Island combines all the advantages of the country in a single space, concentrated on 10 km² of land. With its lush natural surroundings and stunning viewpoints, Boracay attracts many visitors every year and remains a hot spot for beach tourism."
