"FAMOUS SANDWICH NATIONWIDE. If someone tells you to go to Paseo, immediately cancel your plans with them for the rest of the trip. Anyone who doesn’t know by now that Un Bien is where you should be getting your Caribbean roast pork baguettes is a bad influence. And even though the sandwiches here are massive, always get the fire-roasted corn as a side. Also, plan on not wearing a white shirt. You will get pork and aioli and grilled onions all over yourself, and it’s going to be amazing."

"For a good price, Un Bien in Ballard serves way too much for the average customer to eat, whether it’s a satisfying sandwich or rice bowl."

"un bien has a slightly complicated legacy using family recipes, it's run by the sons of the original owner of paseo, while that similar business is now owned by someone else but the important thing to know is this caribbean sandwich shop is the real deal. for a good price, un bien serves way too much for the average customer to eat, whether it's a satisfying sandwich or a rice bowl. a second bright pink location has since opened to help spread the love."
