"Great hotel, booked last minute (day before we were due to fly as eurocamp accommodation was damaged by hailstorm). Booked room with lake view. Hotel is on a side road in malcesine, up a hill. It’s about 15mins walk downhill to the town centre and about 20 mins walk uphill back to the hotel. Or you can take a taxi which is €10. At the bottom of the road is the cable car station. Hotel has 3 pool areas, trampoline, kids play area, indoor swimming pool and indoor kids play area. Food was good. We booked breakfast only as that was the only option but it was €22 for adult and €18 for kids to have dinner at the hotel. Food was very good. Lunch menu also good. Hotel was about 1hr 15mins from Verona airport by taxi. No bother with sunbeds, people didn’t get up silly early to put towels on them. Lots of sunbeds. Apparently you can’t book the hotel as part of a package although someone did say that their friend managed to find it as part of a package with Inghams Travel. Good enough gym (stepper, bike and resistance machines). No spa. Staff very polite. Shuttle bus to town, need to check timetable and didn’t run on Thursdays. No kettle in room, take travel kettle and tea bags! "
