"The beach, very welcoming, is associated with the fishing port of Nossa Senhora da Rocha, and thus the sand is shared with boats, fishing gear (especially buckets) and fishermen's equipment houses. The same boats also make visits, at the request of tourists, to the region's sea caves, where fascinating games of light and color are produced, as well as to isolated beaches only accessible by sea. The beach is delimited to the east by the high line of the cliff, where several grottos can be seen in cut, and to the west by the long promontory of Nossa Senhora da Rocha, from which the entire coastline to Albufeira can be seen. Crossing a tunnel excavated under the headland, it is possible to access the sandy beach of neighboring Praia Nova. A very green patch surrounds the beach, with juniper, wild olive and mastic. On the cliff face, typical plants of these saline environments are already common, as well as the numerous birds that take refuge here: hawks, squaws, seagulls and swifts. Note : Due to the possibility of landslides and rocks coming off, it is recommended that you keep a safe distance from the cliffs. Road access is tarmacked from the EN 125, turning south at Porches, or from Armação de Pera, following the signs to Nossa Senhora da Rocha. Ample and orderly parking next to the Nossa Senhora da Rocha headland; informal parking pockets along the road that descends to the beach. Road traffic and parking are restricted along the beach. Support equipment (restaurant, toilet, bathing and recreational support) and surveillance during the bathing season. Accessible beach. Orientation: Southeast. GPS : 37° 5'50.59"N 8°23'7.43"W"

"On accède à la 2eme crique par un tunnel caché qui traverse la falaise ! Magnifique au pied de la falaise. Venir avec son parasol, plage sauvage "

" C'est l'une des icônes de l'Algarve, la chapelle de Senhora da Rocha trônant sur son éperon rocheux à Porches. La chapelle est construite sur une fine bande rocheuse bordée par deux plages magnifiques, la plage de Praia Nova et la plage de Senhora da Rocha. Vous pourrez profiter de la vue sur ce monument depuis votre serviette. Un tunnel relie les deux plages voisines, les petits comme les grands adorent ce passage secret. Ce lieu est aussi le point de départ d'un sentier pouvant vous mener jusqu'à Benagil et Carvoeiro à travers une nature préservée."
