Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum

"I really liked this! We didn’t go to the library, but the museum took up a good chunk of our afternoon moving through the different exhibits and movies. I appreciated the guidance they gave at the beginning about how to optimize our time to move through it. I learned that Lincoln actually had a pretty squeaky voice, among many other things from his past…unlike Frank Lloyd Wright, whom walking away from his legacy Dana Thomas house I was thinking “Yeah, learning more makes me realize he wasn’t that great,” it was quite the opposite for Lincoln. History certainly has elevated him to a godlike status and while I wouldn’t go that far, he was a darn smart man and I love learning that history behind his legacy."
