"Bingin Beach is one of Bali’s most popular surf spots, and it’s also one of the island’s hidden beaches, obscured by the rugged limestone cliffs on the southwestern Bukit peninsula. While getting to the stretch of white sand requires a difficult walk over uneven rocks, most people agree it is well worth the effort when they experience the gorgeous beachscapes and exciting waves. When you’re not surfing the sensational reef breaks, Bingin offers a treat for photographers or those simply looking for a place to relax and take in the exotic sunsets. Overland, Bingin Beach offers a somewhat stark and barren topography, but you’ll have the best panoramic bird’s-eye view from the cliff-top. The best time for non-surfers and beach lovers to visit Bingin is during low tide, when much of the stretch of sand is revealed. There are a number of local bars and warungs (traditional food shacks selling cold drinks and light meals) where you can sit back and enjoy splendid views over the coast, featuring scattered boulders and rock pools. "Bingin es una de las zonas más de moda de Uluwatu, y como no podía ser menos, su playa también lo es. Para llegar, tendrás que aparcar la moto en un pequeño parking, caminar por unas callejuelas y bajar escaleras durante unos 10 minutos. Una vez allí, encontrarás un montón de warungs y locales donde comer y tomar algo con unas vistas muy chulas a la playa. El más famosillo era el Kelly´s warung, pero actualmente está cerrado. Además de practicar surf, otra de las cosas que puedes hacer en esta playa es ver el atardecer. Si te apetece un plan local y romántico, por las noches también podrás cenar una barbacoa de pescado en la misma playa. Tengas el plan que tengas, no te olvides de añadir este lugar a tu lista de lugares que ver en Uluwatu."

"Bingin %0361 In continua evoluzione, Bingin ospita numerose strutture ricettive eleganti e originali disseminate lungo la scogliera e la sottostante striscia di sabbia bianca di Bingin Beach. Jl Pantai Bingin, una strada dal fondo liscio e spianato, si dirama per 1 km da Jl Melasti (cercate il gruppo di cartelli che segnalano gli hotel) e poi si ramifica in un dedalo di vicoli. Il paesaggio è semplicemente magnifico, con scogliere ammantate di boschi che scendono a picco fino a una fila di caffè per surfisti e al mare azzurro orlato di spuma. La spiaggia si raggiunge con una camminata di cinque minuti lungo un sentiero in discesa piuttosto ripido. Qui il mare è spesso molto agitato, ma la spiaggia orlata di scogli è tranquilla e l’infrangersi delle onde ha un effetto quasi ipnotico."

"A popular spot for two reasons – surf, and the huge rock with a tiny tree on top. Bingin Beach is a bit of a hit and miss when you ask people about it. Some rave about it’s great surf and chill vibe, others say it’s trashy and too polluted. We visited on a couple of occasions and we have to admit that when the tide was out, there was a lot of rubbish. For this photo we headed down to the beach and walked all the way left along the ocean front. Make sure to check for low tide otherwise you simply will not be able to reach it. We shoot all of our photos on a tripod and camera so used some stairs to set up the arial view shot, otherwise a drone would be ideal! Just be sure to check the tides and visit when the tide is out!"

Bingin Beach is a boho hideaway that can be hard to find unless you know where you’re going – or who to follow. With perfect waves and small sandy coves for swimming at low tide, this cliff-based beach is a favourite for Bali’s sun soakers and surfers. You’ll need to be relatively fit to get to and from the beach (there are uneven, rocky steps from the top of the cliff to the sands), but your efforts will certainly be rewarded. Dozens of affordable beach stays line the cliffside too, making this a good spot for budget trips or a no-frills sunset on a blanket. There are some great healthy cafés here too, perfect for a post-surf refuel."
