"The cocktail bar and live music venue in the revived Frenchmen Hotel is, fittingly, called Midnight Revival. The hotel is the first for Punch Bowl Social founder and restaurateur Robert Thompson, who bought the property and embarked on an extensive renovation in Spring 2021. Thompson seems to be doubling down on New Orleans, as he also recently bought the Whitney Hotel, with plans to renovate and debut alongside a restaurant and bar in 2023. For now, Thompson is hoping to draw in Frenchmen Street revelers with two bar spaces — the ground floor bar that will host nightly music and serve a menu of tropical-leaning cocktails, and the rooftop bar, which will open to the public later this year."
