"Located in Garden City, the Four Seasons at Nile Plaza is a five-star oasis with luxe rooms, a happening pool scene and multiple restaurants. Indagare Loves The rooms with Nile views and balconies The elite pool scene with palatial cabanas Italian Bella restaurant for some of the best Italian food in Egypt Review For years the Four Seasons Nile Plaza has been the ultimate hotel on the Cairo scene—with little competition—the one address that gives visitors a sense of being in just the right place. While some competition has encroached on the scene (namely the St. Regis), the Four Seasons Nile Plaza remains a top choice for the luxury traveler, and often serves as headquarters for visiting celebrities and dignitaries. Despite the security forces searching cars to check trunks and survey passengers and metal detectors guarding the lobby (as is typical of hotels in Egypt), the hotel is a glistening five-star oasis where sheikhs, chic locals and visitors are catered to with high-touch service. Expect glam and gilt over elegance and understatement. Whether you choose to lounge in the lobby and watch the parade of passersby or retreat to the outdoor pool, you can be sure that someone will always be on hand to offer a drink, a snack or a cool washcloth. The 366 guest rooms and suites aren’t particularly memorable: they are characterized by tried-and-true palettes and safe furniture choices. Still, they are fresh-feeling, and the best have Nile views. The hotel’s real attraction is its public spaces. During the day, the pool area, with its palatial cabanas and deck, resembles an urban club—say, an Egyptian version of the Soho House rooftop—but with lots of kids and nannies in full burkas splashing in the water. Non-hotel guests can experience it by coming for lunch at the Pool Grill, which is patronized by many of the city’s elite, as are the hotel’s five other restaurants: 8, a Chinese eatery; Zitouni, for Lebanese specialties; Bullona for Mediterranean fusion, and the Beymen CafĂ©, serving light versions of classic dishes. You can also sit and enjoy light bites and drinks at The Bar, La Galerie on the main level or the Upper Deck lounge. A plus for fashionistas, some of the best shopping in the Middle East is in the attached mall next door. Don’t miss Beymen if you like designer labels, which are sometimes marked way down. For more active travelers, the hotel concierge can arrange for horseback riding, golf, tennis and Nile cruises, which leave from a nearby dock. Who Should Stay Those who like to be in the heart of the scene and have glamorous options—from a pool party to shopping and see-and-be-seen restaurants—just an elevator ride away."

"#CNT - The second of the two Four Seasons is on the eastern, Cairo side of the river and is the larger of the two, with 10 dining venues that include a shisha lounge, Italian and Chinese restaurants, and Zitouni, a highly regarded authentic Egyptian restaurant with Nile views. A large, tiered outdoor pool deck is the main attraction, though there's also an indoor, glass-ceilinged pool, along with a large spa and wellness centre. A prominent collection of contemporary Egyptian artwork is peppered across the hotel. Address: Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza, 1089 Nile Corniche, El Nil, Cairo Governorate 11519, Egypt"
