"This bar and grill is right on the lake, with tons of outdoor seating! While waiting for our table (it was a pretty short wait) we sat on the beach with our toes in the sand. Got dinner right around sunset and it was just beautiful. Walked down the pier afterwards too. Food was kind of pricey but my dad highly recommends their signature Rum Runner cocktail! Rum Runner Cruise anyone? That’s a booze cruise if I ever saw one."

"If you’re staying at Camp Richardson, you’ll likely visit The Beacon quite often. Even if you’re not, it’s worth it to make time to stop (preferably on your way back from a day in Emerald Bay) to enjoy lake views, live daily music on the deck, the signature burger topped with Rum Runner sauce, and, of course, a Beacon classic: The Original Rum Runner."
