"Pasquale Cirillo: Dopo Venturi, credo di aver trovato un'altra pizzeria napoletana di notevole qualità, e questa volta in un contesto più urbano, ossia nella piacevole Portland, in Oregon. L'impasto della pizza è ottimo, la cottura a regola d'arte, i condimenti ricchi e di qualità. Oltre ai grandi classici, come la margherita e le versioni al salame o al prosciutto, Ken's Artisan Pizza offre alcune varianti che strizzano l'occhio (o le papille?) al gusto americano, ma che, fidatevi, meritano assolutamente di essere provate. Dalla Cherry Bomb alla Sweet Corn & Mexican Truffle, avrete l'imbarazzo della scelta. Interessante anche la Basil panna cotta, parlando di dessert. Il locale è carino, ma quello che conta è la pizza. We are in Portland and Ken's Artisan Pizza is a guarantee if you are looking for the quality and seasonality of the ingredients (all the vegetable proposals are great). There is attention to sustainability, lightness, and fragrance for the long-leavened dough. The pizza is inspired by Naples, and, as they love mentioning here, with an American accent that comes out with the inventiveness and originality of the toppings as well as with the aromas of the dough and with the amiable and energetic waitstaff.
