It’s an unexpectedly rural world for this corner of Italy, and arrival takes you down a rustic driveway lined with olive trees to the hotel’s own stazzo, a traditional farmhouse home from which you’ll find your way to a handful of suites nestled into the generous estate. Each attractive room is named for and often decorated with something quintessentially Sardinian: Catriedda (small hand-carved chairs), Nassa (a type of fishing trap) or Pintadera (a terracotta bread stamp), for some examples. Textiles, too, are hyperlocal, including carpets and blankets spun from the wool of Sardinian sheep."
