"Good restaurant, quite expensive with small portions. Entrées are usually fantastic. Sharing is caring at Place des Fêtes so don’t expect more than two bites per person per dish. Even though the cellar is limited to natural wine (unfortunately very common in Brooklyn), the staff has always good recommendations for pairing or if you simply want to avoid the stables smell that might come with natural wines. "Omar’s reco Michelin Guide mention 2025 Wine bars are rarely known for their food, and sometimes we have to make the most out of a small bowl of popcorn. Thankfully, compromise isn't on the table at this popular Clinton Hill hangout, courtesy of the talented team behind Oxalis. This casual second act cooks as great as it pours, and both the food and the wines lean Spanish. Simple seafood preparations, thick blocks of grilled toast and thoughtful vegetable courses form the heart of the menu. Plates run small, so consider doubling up if you're with a group. Bartenders, meanwhile, favor zippy, natural wines from small producers. Both the bar and the open kitchen act as anchors in this cozy space, which ripples with energy and fills up quickly."

"This new French-leaning natural wine bar just opened last night in Clinton Hill and we cannot wait to check it out. Behind the new Place des Fêtes is the team of Michelin-starred restaurant, Oxalis, in Prospect Heights. Looking forward to small plates & sips here soon! From coolstuff.nyc"
