"A quaint and artsy island, which is a unique experience that’s really easy to get to from twickenham station. It’s a lot more pleasant when it’s sunny but has a unique atmosphere when it’s raining also. Lots of artist stools to look around and purchase with unique styles and some great spots to sit and eat your lunch. It can get a little busy around midday and the paths are narrow so I would suggest getting there earlier, if possible, to properly enjoy it. It is also a private island so is closed to the public almost all year, however there are a few dates during the year that it opens to the public. Check those dates out on the island website, it's worth a visit. Entrance is free and there's no need to pre book."
