"From the sign outside you’d think this was pretty dingy inside, but it was a fun German pub vibe. Fun to see people get boots full of beer. I enjoyed my brews while we watched the Final Four for NCAA Basketball on 4/5/2025."

"Matt: German bar right across the street from my old apartment on Lill. Again, a bit south of you. AUTHENTIC German food (get a sausage sampler platter and some spaetzle, or a soft pretzel the size of a large pizza), and incredible German beer. This is also a Wisconsin bar, so if they’re ever doing well in sports, this can be a very fun place to be. Most of the tables are picnic style and sometimes you end up sharing with randoms, which can be cool. You can also get a boot of beer here."
