"#CNT - TOP ACTIVITIES TTO What was once a parking lot for Ontario Place is now a 7.5-acre park that's bringing nature back to the waterfront. More than 1,200 trees and 15,000 shrubs and flowers were planted among rolling hills and stacked boulders that represent the natural landscape of the region. Throughout the day, you'll find people strolling the 0.8-mile William G. Davis Trail, relaxing on the lawns and taking in the skyline views, or gathering around the fire pits spread throughout the park. The park incorporates First Nations history and culture throughout its design. You enter the park through a feature called the Ravine, and carved into the wall, you'll find the moccasin identifier of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. There are also three marker trees planted in the park—these bent trees were used by Indigenous peoples for navigation. This waterfront park has some of the best views of the Toronto skyline—it's great for any and all visitors."

"Trillium Park and the William G. Davis Trail are a 7.5-acre green space along Toronto’s waterfront, transformed from a former parking lot into a vibrant public park. Opened in 2017, the park features native trees, rolling hills, and rock formations that reflect Ontario’s diverse landscapes. The 1.3 km William G. Davis Trail offers scenic views of Lake Ontario and the city skyline, connecting to the larger Martin Goodman Trail system. Designed in collaboration with the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, the park incorporates Indigenous cultural elements, including the Ravine with moccasin identifiers and marker trees used for navigation. Amenities such as the Sunrise Garden Pavilion, fire pits, and seating areas provide spaces for relaxation and community gatherings."
